Since the 9/11 tragedy, there has been a push to ensure that large scale buildings are equipped with appropriate in-building communication systems to ensure that our public safety professionals have appropriate radio coverage in case of an emergency. Many of the cities and municipalities have adopted communication enhancement system codes that require a specialized amplification system be included in new structures and add-ons larger than 50,000 sq ft. In addition, an enhancement system is often necessary to support cellular use within larger structures.
PCS Mobile offers a variety of bi-directional amplifier products for both two-way radio and cellular frequencies. We also specialize in designing, installing, testing and maintenance on these in-building communication systems. We have a licensed electrical contractor on staff that is available to manage the project and understands the unique challenges found within the construction market.
