PCS Partners with Rural/Metro Ambulance in Contribution of Ambulance Donation to Mexico Hospital

DENVER, CO (June 12, 2009) — Portable Computer Systems, Inc. (PCS), a leading reseller of mobile data applications and wireless products, is one of several local businesses that has contributed to the purchase of an ambulance by the Aurora Gateway Rotary Club and Rural/Metro Ambulance. The ambulance will be donated to a Juarez, Mexico hospital.

This is the fourth such donation that the Aurora Gateway Rotary Club has made to the Juarez community since 2005. Similar efforts have contributed ambulances to the Ministry of Health and La Tenda Di Cristo, an AIDS shelter.

"The Aurora Gateway Rotary Club is very proud of our partnership with Rural/Metro Ambulance in providing emergency equipment to organizations that support people living along the Untied States/Mexico border," said Aurora Gateway Club President Bob Waples."

According to a recent Rural/Metro press release, the ambulance will be delivered to the Clinica Santa Maria, which serves as a civil society organization providing health services to eleven colonies near Juarez. The 47-bed facility currently has one 21-year-old ambulance that is in dire need of replacement.
