In 2003, PCS Mobile was recognized by Panasonic Solutions Company as “Partner of the Year” and continues to be one of their top Value Added Resellers (VARs) in the Panasonic Toughbook Partners Program. In addition, in 2009 and 2010 PCS Mobile was recognized as one of North America's Top Technology Integrators by Everything Channel's annual VAR500 list. The list features companies that are the leading revenue producers among solution provider organizations in North America. Also, PCS Mobile and the President, Kathy Pakkebier, have been recognized since 2004 as one of the top female owned businesses, within the state of Colorado, by ColoradoBiz Magazine.

PCS Mobile has a national presence with branch offices located in several strategic regions and the corporate office centrally located in Denver, CO. We support a number of vertical markets and our clients range from Fortune 500 companies to state and local public safety organizations. We offer complete turn-key solutions, including installation and service---or the option to provide only products and/or services on a job-by-job basis. Kathy Pakkebier, President
Kathy Pakkebier, President
Kathy Pakkebier is the President and founder of PCS Mobile (formerly known as Portable Computer Systems). She is originally from Kansas where she acquired a M. S from Kansas State University. She started her career in the mobile data field as a Field Representative for GRiD Systems—the manufacturer responsible for designing the first portable laptop for tough environmental conditions. Since the company’s inception in 1993, the focus has always been on providing the best products along with quality customer service and professional and caring staff.
Marty Murphy, Vice President
Marty Murphy, Vice President
Marty Murphy serves as PCS Mobile’s Vice-President of Marketing, Internal Operations and Customer Fulfillment. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University prior to making Colorado his home in 1984. Marty is a Professional Engineer and Registered Architect in the State of Colorado and practiced architecture and engineering for twenty (20) years prior to joining PCS Mobile.

 

Dave LaFleur, Manager of Marketing & Lead Generation

Dave has over 25 years of experience in Graphic Design and Marketing. Having owned a Marketing Communications firm for over 17 years he brings this knowledge to his marketing position at PCS Mobile. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. His interests include photography, flyfishing, hiking, cross country skiing, soccer, art, design & architecture, silversmithing and cooking.
Clay Jeppsen, Regional Sales Manager, SW/West/South

Clay served as a Capitol Police Officer for 10 yrs in Phoenix AZ, then moved into the tech world where he sold Sales and Marketing software for small businesses. Now, combining both passions.  He graduated from Rio Salado College with a degree in Police Technology. He and his wife, Lindsey, live in Mesa AZ with their 4 children. Clay enjoys traveling with his family, history lessons, and helping his wife grow her wedding business.

Emily Gillette Brittin, Manager of Administration

Emily manages HR and administration for PCS mobile. She has a background in corporate event planning, social media management and business development. Emily is a Seattle native but came to Colorado to attend the University of Denver.  She fell in love with the area and the sunshine and has made it her home. She spends most weekends skiing or hiking in the mountains.

Todd comes to us with a vast networking and wireless background which includes eight years of federal IT sales focused on the Department of Defense.  Based at our headquarters in Denver, he'll be developing and maintaining the sales of our entire suite of rugged, mobile-tech solutions throughout the Rocky Mountain and Northwest regions of the U.S.

Steve McKay, Manager of Finance and Purchasing
Steve McKay has worn many hats during his 18 year tenure at PCS Mobile. Most currently, he is Manager of Finance and Product Fulfillment. A native of Michigan, Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Planning from Michigan State University. Steve enjoys live music, reading, gardening and other outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.

Lexie joined the PCS team bringing with her a background in many fields including Quality Assurance, Criminal Justice, Customer Service and Incident Management. Lexie has worked most previously as a Quality Supervisor for a management company where she dealt and addressed all customer complaints. Lexie has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Northern Colorado.

Bobby has 10+ years in working with 12 volt electronics and accessories. In addition to his role as Branch Service Manager, Bobby is MECP certified and has been the lead installer and project manager on numerous projects for PCS Mobile.

Brian Ferring is a retired U.S. Coast Guard officer and Police Chief.  He has taken his years of industry-specific experience and redirected his focus into sales and support for his PCS Mobile clients.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master of Science in Security Management.  He also has past experience in grant writing.  Brian enjoys restoring old furniture when his hectic schedule allows.
