WannaCry: Widespread Ransomware Attack Hits 230,000 Computers in 150 Countries!

If your organization hasn’t been hit by the WannaCry/WanaCrypt0r 2.0 ransomware yet, you’ve either already taken the correct precautions or you’ve lucked out.  Although an accidental kill-switch discovery has temporarily slowed the attack, experts state that continued cyber-assaults are imminent.  How do you make sure your organization is safe? 

It’s all about staying on top of the details—especially keeping your systems up-to-date.

Per the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC), the most important action you need to take is to ensure that the critical Microsoft Security Bulletin MS17-010 Security Update for Microsoft Windows SMB is installed.
